Imperial Brands Non-Executive Director David Haines Steps Down

LONDON (Alliance News) - Imperial Brands PLC on Wednesday said Non-Executive Director David Haines stepped down immediately after securing a role of chief executive officer at agriculture company UpField Group.

The tobacco company said Haines - who also served as chairman of the remuneration committee - will be succeeded by Malcolm Wyman, senior independent director.

"I would like to thank David for his significant contribution over the past six years and wish him well in his new role," said Chairman Mark Williamson.

Shares in the tobacco company were up 0.1% at 2,877.50 pence each on Wednesday morning.
