LONDON (Alliance News) - Recruitment company Impellam Group PLC on Friday said its full year trading will be in line with expectations.
The company said it saw a strong performance in its UK Specialist Staffing and Managed Services businesses in the year to December 31 and said the turnaround for its Carlisle Support Services arm has offset a weaker performance in North America.
The group said the integration of its two acquisitions in the year, IT staffing company Lorien Ltd and education staffing firm Career Teachers Ltd, was progressing to plan and said both businesses are performing in line with its expectations.
"The implementation of our strategy, laid out in our 2013 Annual Report, continues to go well and the repositioning of the business into Managed Services and Specialist Staffing is complete," said Chief Executive Officer Julia Robertson.
"We are delighted to have made two important acquisitions this year which have strengthened our Specialist Staffing portfolio and will enable us to increase our share of the spend running through our Managed Services programmes, in particular in our re-branded Global business, Guidant," Robertson added.
Robertson added the turnaround for Carlisle Support Services means Impellam can now start considering strategic options for the business.
Impellam shares were up 2% to 527.9 pence on Friday morning.
