LONDON (Alliance News) - Immunodiagnostic Systems Holdings PLC said Friday it proposing to move its automated assay related activities to its Belgium manufacturing site from its UK manufacturing site, which could potentially result in 26 job losses at its UK site in Boldon.
The company said the move is intended to "streamline and improve" the efficiency of its assay manufacturing and development, consolidating all of its automated assay activity into one location.
Immunodiagnostic said it is considering "all possible alternatives" to reduce the number of potential redundancies, and in particular is considering applications from volunteers for redundancy from employees who are interested.
