(Alliance News) - Immotion Group PLC on Wednesday said it has secured new virtual reality headset contracts and added that the coronavirus outbreak has not hurt trading so far.
The immersive virtual reality company has signed contracts for an additional 28 headsets to be installed at sites including Dezerland Park in the US city of Orlando, Downtown Aquarium in Denver, and Oklahoma Aquarium.
Immotion said that its recent weekly trading patterns are in line with internal expectations and that its manufacturing plant in China has resumed operations.
"These are clearly challenging times, and whilst we believe we are well placed to deal with this crisis we are currently taking each day at a time," said Chief Executive Martin Higginson.
"Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay is on track to open at the end of this month, and we remain excited and optimistic at this, our largest installation to date. All other installs are on track and we expect circa 400 headsets to be installed and operational by the end of March 2020," Higginson added.
Immotion shares were untraded at 4.10 pence each on Wednesday in London.
