(Alliance News) - Immedia Group PLC on Tuesday said its business and market confidence has improved, bolstered by the months of September and October being the best trading months "in the company's history".
The multi-media content supplier said the two months were helped by the creative content and AV installation work done for the COP26 summit in Glasgow, Scotland.
Despite being a one-off project work, Immedia noted a renewal in demand across all of its sectors, including audio, creative and video production.
Also on Tuesday, Immedia announced the renewal of its contract with homewares retailer Ikea Ltd for another three years. Under the deal, the company provides a live audio stream featuring music and brand-appropriate messaging in all Ikea stores in the UK and Republic of Ireland.
Looking ahead, Immedia will continue to explore divestment options for its main trading subsidiary Immedia Broadcast Ltd, believing that it would operate more efficiently as a private company.
Shares in Immedia were up 2.1% at 12.25 pence on Tuesday in London.
