LONDON (Alliance News) - Immedia Group PLC, which supplies digital music, entertainment and commerce channels, said Thursday that it has partnered with Silk Route UK Ltd to supply augmented reality commerce and product recognition solutions.
"Silk Route and Immedia will work together to bring the advantages of Augmented Reality to the fast paced, hugely competitive retail environment. The technology allows retailers to promote and sell products and services 'out of store'," the company said in a statement.
Immedia shares were down 1.6% Thursday afternoon at 22.75 pence.
