Immedia Contracted To Provide Music, Information Channels At Wembley City

16th Sep 2014 07:54

LONDON (Alliance News) - Immedia Group PLC said Tuesday that it has signed a contract to provide music and information channels to Wembley City in London.

The bespoke digital music and entertainment channels provider said the contract will see four channels cover the Olympic Way, the Arena, the Piazza and retail areas. Each channel will include relevant information together with 'audio art' featuring montages of great moments in Wembley's history.

"We are delighted to announce our new relationship with Wembley City which demonstrates that Immedia's strategy to provide services to new sectors is paying off. Wembley City is an exciting development with a huge captive audience and we look forward to adding to their customers' overall experience," said Immedia Chief Executive Bruno Brookes.

No financial details of the contract were disclosed.

In August the company said revenue in the first-half of the year will be broadly the same as last year, while its operating profit for all of 2014 will miss market expectations, with sales growth at a number of key customers offsetting lower equipment sales to other customers.

However, the company said that new contracts, which were expected to contribute to revenue growth in the first-half, will only add to revenue in the second-half of the year onwards

Interim results are due to be released this month.

Immedia shares were trading 3.19% higher at 15.99 pence per share shortly after the market open Tuesday.
