(Alliance News) - Digital customer communication firm IMImobile PLC said Tuesday that interim profit and revenue both rose as it continued to deliver organic growth, with more expected for the full year.
For the six months ended September, pretax profit widened 8.3% to GBP1.3 million from GBP1.2 million the year prior. This was after revenue rose 24% to GBP83.0 million from GBP67.2 million the year before.
"We have made strong organic progress throughout the first half of the year and expect the positive momentum to continue through to the year end and beyond," Chief Executive Officer Jay Patel said.
"The acquisition of 3Cinteractive provides a solid foundation in the US and we are very confident of success in this market," Patel added. "The outlook for the year is positive and we are trading in line with board expectations."
In August, London-based IMImobile acquired 3CInteractive Corp for up to USD53.2 million in a cash and shares deal.
"89% of companies are now competing primarily on the basis of customer experience, meaning demand for customer communication software has never been greater," Patel said. "Our enterprise-grade offering, and comprehensive set of applications addresses the needs of the largest complex global organisations. With the introduction of new, richer communication channels, we are excited about the possibilities for dramatically improving customer experience."
Shares in IMImobile were 5.3% higher at 320.00 pence in London on Tuesday.
