IDOX Snaps Up Digital Consultancy Reading Room For GBP5.6 Million

8th Oct 2015 06:58

LONDON (Alliance News) - Software and services company IDOX PLC on Thursday said it has struck a GBP5.6 million cash deal to acquire digital consultancy business Reading Room Ltd.

Under the deal, IDOX will acquire Reading Room's trading entities based in London and Manchester but will not acquire the company's Asia Pacific business. Reading Room provides consultancy services on building websites and digital services for companies.

The acquisition, IDOX said, should support its development of online platforms and its existing product suites.

"The acquisition of Reading Room is a major step in our strategy to build a sophisticated digital platform from which we can leverage our sector and domain knowledge to provide value adding solutions across the UK and Europe," said IDOX Chief Executive Richard Kellett-Clarke.
