Idox Appoints Financial Officer, Sees Positive Start To 2014

27th Feb 2014 13:39

LONDON (Alliance News) - Idox PLC appointed Jane Mackie as Chief Financial Officer with immediate effect Thursday, and announced that it had seen a positive start to 2014.

Mackie has held the position of group financial controller at the software company since March 1, 2009. Previously she worked as company secretary at Idox.

Revenues have risen 10% in the first quarter compared with the previous year, Idox said in a statement ahead of its annual general meeting Thursday.

Recovery in the company's Engineering Information Management Division has boosted revenue growth in the new financial year, Idox said, and it won new business in its Public Sector Software Division.

"We are encouraged by the positive start to the year, and the board expects that the changes made to the business, which began in 2013, will deliver further benefits in the second half of the current financial year," said Chairman Martin Brooks in the statement.

Shares in Idox were trading up 4.3% at 42.50 pence Thursday morning.
