Ideagen Joins G-Cloud Framework, Wins Deal From Public Health England

21st May 2015 08:37

LONDON (Alliance News) - Information management software company Ideagen PLC on Thursday said it has been named to the UK government's G-Cloud 6 and said it has won its first contract under the framework.

The G-Cloud framework is designed to promote the adoption of cloud-based services within UK government departments.

Ideagen has won a deal under the framework from Public Health England, worth an initial GBP0.2 million, to provide its clinical content software to provide secure storage and reporting for critical clinical information.

"We are delighted to have secured a place on the G-cloud framework and to be extending the services we can offer through this platform. To have already secured a contract through G-Cloud is a clear indication of the viability of the framework and the value of our products," said David Hornsby, Ideagen's chief executive.

Shares in Ideagen were up 0.7 to 38.75 pence on Thursday.
