Ideagen Expects 2nd Half Benefits From GBP500,000 In New Contracts

4th Mar 2014 12:52

LONDON (Alliance News) - Ideagen PLC said Tuesday that it expects the rest of the second half of the year to benefit from increased commercial activities and further National Health Service contract wins in the UK, as it announced contract wins worth a combined value of around GBP500,000.

Ideagen, a software developer, said it continues to trade in line with expectations. It has seen an increase in the number and value of new contracts from commercial customers, including Achmea Holding NV and BTG PLC.

The company said the integration of its recent acquisition Petana Inc had been completed, and the former chief executive of Petana, Ken Ebbage, had been appointed managing director of product and services for its Risk and Compliance business. Former services director of Petana, Terry Perkins, has been appointed product director for the Risk & Compliance business.

"I am delighted with progress so far in the second half," said Chief Executive David Hornsby in a statement. "We are seeing increased momentum in our commercial business and the NHS remains a strong market for the group."

Shares in Ideagen were trading up 3.7% at 33.44 pence Tuesday morning.
