Ideagen Declares Maiden Interim Dividend On Strong First Half

14th Jan 2014 11:27

LONDON (Alliance News) - Ideagen PLC Tuesday declared its maiden interim dividend of 0.05 pence per share as it saw revenue and pretax profit rise in the half-year ended October 31, boosted by acquisitions.

The IT software company posted revenue of GBP3.7 million, up from GBP2.6 million in the previous year. Pretax profit was GBP515,105, up from GBP230,403 in the previous year.

Ideagen saw organic growth driven by increased revenues from the UK Healthcare sector, helped by the release of its new dart/KW product for patient information.

Organic growth was bolstered by the acquisition and integration of MSS Management Systems Services Ltd and Plumtree Group.

The company expressed its confidence for the rest of the year, as its integration of MSS and post period acquisition of Pentanta Ltd are expected to contribute to revenue and operating profits in the second half.

Shares in Ideagen were trading down 7.1% at 31.35 pence Tuesday morning.
