(Alliance News) - Iconic Labs PLC said Friday it has reshuffled its board by appointing current chief operating officer San Asante as executive director, while two non-executive directors resigned.
The media and technology firm said that Non-Executive Directors Richard Thompson and Will Muirhead have resigned from the board with immediate effect to focus on other interests.
The company said Asante, who is currently the chief operating officer at Iconic Labs, began his career in the industry when he grew a social media account organically to one million followers during his gap year.
In 2012, Asante joined internet media company UNILAD, where he initially focused on establishing commercial operations, before shifting to product and marketing and working closely with the chief executive officer and managing director, to innovate and drive the business forward.
David Sefton, executive chair, said: "The team are now focused on building our own brands and helping other brands solve business problems and get fit for the digital age. To this end, Sam has unrivalled experience and will undoubtably continue to play a key role in creating a robust, profitable business."
Iconic Labs shares were down 18% in London at 0.09 pence each on Friday.
