LONDON (Alliance News) - ICAP PLC on Wednesday said its US Treasury and EBS electronic broking volumes increased year-on-year in July, while its US and European repo volumes declined.
The FTSE 250-listed interdealer broker said its US Treasury broking volumes in July rose by 14% to USD161.5 billion from USD141.2 billion a year earlier, while EBS volumes rose by 16% to USD82.1 billion from USD70.6 billion.
But US repo volumes were down 9% year-on-year in the month to USD197.2 billion from USD217.6 billion, while European repo volumes fell 3% to EUR176.4 billion from EUR181.5 billion.
ICAP shares were up 0.1% to 524.00 pence on Wednesday.
