LONDON (Alliance News) - Shares in i3 Energy PLC jumped Thursday after it reported that Lombard Odier Asset Management Ltd more than tripled its stake in the firm to 21% in a transaction on Tuesday.
Lombard Odier held 10.8 million shares in the North Sea-focused oil & gas development firm after the transaction, equivalent to a 20.8% stake in the 52.0 million shares outstanding in the firm. Prior to the transaction, Lombard Odier held a 6.8% stake.
Shares in i3 were 5.1% higher at 40.44 pence on Thursday.
