LONDON (Alliance News) - i3 Energy PLC said Friday its interim loss narrowed as it reduced the loss on interest payable.
For the six months to June 30, the independent oil & gas company posted a pretax loss of GBP179,804 compared to GBP1.9 million a year prior.
"The majority of the loss resulted from the group's expenses relating to day-to-day operations," the company explained.
The company paid just GBP105,840 in interests compared to GBP1.1 million a year ago.
i3 Energy shares were trading down 14% at 75.90 pence on Monday afternoon.
