LONDON (Alliance News) - Industrial oil re-refiner Hydrodec Group PLC on Thursday said it hit a record monthly production rate at its Canton facility in Ohio in February.
Hydrodec said production from Canton was 2.45 million litres in February, the highest monthly figure on record, including prior to the explosion and fire which damaged the site in December 2013.
The company didn't provide comparison monthly figures. However, in January, Hydrodec said the Canton plant produced 10.5 million litres of processed oil in 2015 and a daily production record of 94,000 litres.
"I would expect we can improve on this further. Operational performance is a key platform for our strategy of growth in the US and these records confirm the improvement in operability and rateability of the plant as we continue to rebuild market share in the US," said Chief Executive Chris Ellis.
Hydrodec shares were up 4.1% to 3.51 pence.
