Hurricane Energy's Lancaster Field Production Vessel Leaves Dubai

LONDON (Alliance News) - Oil & gas company Hurricane Energy PLC on Monday said the Aoka Mizu floating production storage and offloading vessel has left Dubai on its way to Hurricane's Lancaster Field offshore the UK.

The Aoka Mizu FPSO is to be used in the early production system development of Hurricane's Lancaster oil field, located to the west of the Shetland islands.

Having departed Dubai, the FPSO will sail first to Rotterdam to complete a scope of work before making its way to the Lancaster field.

Hurricane Energy has completed the final stage of preparations at Lancaster. This was was a rock dumping project to secure sub-sea infrastructure.

Shares in Hurricane Energy were up 2.6% at 52.60 pence on Monday.
