(Alliance News) - Hurricane Energy PLC is to begin drill stem testing on the Warwick West well on Tuesday, it said.
Warwick West is the third and final well of the 2019 drilling programme on the Greater Warwick Area in the UK North Sea. Hurricane owns 50% of the site.
Godalming, Surrey-based Hurricane earlier in November said it is "far too early" to determine the results from Warwick West, responding to media reports on progress.
"The company will provide an update on initial results of the well, including flow rates and oil type, following completion of the testing phase," it said Tuesday.
Hurricane has reported mixed results so far at Greater Warwick. In September, it said it was "delighted" with results from the Lincoln Crestal well, but in June it abandoned the Warwick Weep well after a hydrocarbon no-show.
Hurricane shares were 2.7% higher on Tuesday morning in London at 42.56 pence each.
