(Alliance News) - Hunting PLC said Thursday it has promoted Europe, Middle East & Africa Managing Director Bruce Ferguson to the board as finance director, with effect at the group's annual general meeting on April 15.
He will be replacing Peter Rose, who is stepping down after 12 years in the role since 2008, and 23 years at the oil & gas services group since 1997.
Ferguson himself has been part of Hunting for 26 years since 1994, of which the most recent nine years have been spent as EMEA managing director.
"The board thank Peter for his commitment and contribution to the group over the past 23 years and particularly during his 12 years as finance director on the board, during which time he played an instrumental role in the development of the company. We wish him well in his retirement from the board," said Chair Jay Glick.
"I am delighted that after due consideration and an appropriate selection process, we will welcome Bruce Ferguson to the board as finance director in April 2020," Glick added.
Shares in FTSE 250-listed Hunting were down 1.1% at 331.40 pence on Thursday in London.
