Hunter Resources Loss Widens In 2014 Following AIM Readmission

30th Jun 2015 10:43

LONDON (Alliance News) - Hunter Resources PLC Tuesday posted a widened pretax loss for 2014 in its first results since being readmitted to AIM in July 2014 following a reverse takeover of Gold Hunter SAC in Peru.

Hunter Resources posted a pretax loss of GBP476,000, widened from a pretax loss of GBP220,000 in 2013, mostly as a result of higher administrative expenses of GBP320,000, up from GBP138,000. Also, share-based payments rose to GBP148,000 from GBP76,000.

The company raised GBP925,000 in its readmission as working capital to undertake exploration and evaluation activities on the Pampamali project in Peru.

Hunter has completed sampling exercises at the project with encouraging results, and earlier this month lodged applications for additional tenements covering 5,000 hectares to the north west of the project to be named the Prospero project.

Shares in Hunter are untraded Tuesday morning. They last closed at 0.356 pence.
