Hummingbird Says Detailed Feasibility Study In Liberia On Track

LONDON (Alliance News) - Hummingbird Resources PLC Monday said it detailed feasibility study for the Tuzon Deposit at Dugbe 1 in Liberia is on schedule for delivery in the third quarter.

The Liberian gold exploration and development company said the Environmental, Ecological & Social Impact Assessment baseline studies for the site are progressing in line with expectations and are due for completion on time in the third quarter.

The company said it has completed phase 1 metallurgical work and throughput options studies as part of the DFS and it is fully funded through to the completion of the DFS.

In November, Hummingbird announced an updated interim mineral resource estimate for the site of 12.8 million tonnes at 1.22 grams per tonne of gold in the indicated category.

The company also said it has completed an exploration plan for Dugbe 1 project following a recent airborne study to identify key targets.

Hummingbird Resources shares were untraded Monday at 33.00 pence.
