LONDON (Alliance News) - HSBC Holdings PLC said on Tuesday it is planning to issue USD4.00 billion worth of perpetual subordinated contingent convertible securities on Friday this week.
The FTSE 100-listed bank will issue USD2.25 billion of 6.250% securities callable on March 23, 2023 and then every five years thereafter, as well as USD1.75 billion of 6.500% securities callable on the same date in 2028 and then every five years.
HSBC expects the securities to be admitted to trading on the global exchange market of the Irish Stock Exchange within 30 days of issue.
HSBC shares were up 0.4% at the start of trading in London on Tuesday at 698.10 pence each.
