LONDON (Alliance News) - HSBC Holdings PLC on Wednesday said it has appointed former Standard Life PLC boss David Nish to its board.
Nish will become an independent non-executive director of the company and will be a member of its group audit committee.
Nish was the chief executive of Standard Life, the blue-chip life insurer and investment manager, until 2015. He also sits on the boards of exchange operator London Stock Exchange Group PLC and telecommunications company Vodafone Group PLC.
HSBC shares were up 0.1% to 448.35 pence on Wednesday.
