LONDON (Alliance News) - Hornby PLC on Tuesday said it has appointed Group Finance Director Steve Cooke as its new chief executive.
Cooke will take on the new role immediately while Hornby looks for an interim finance director.
Executive Chairman Roger Canham will continue in this role, but will revert to a non-executive role by the end of 2016.
"I am delighted to announce that Steve will be Hornby's new chief executive. He has made a significant contribution to the group since he joined and I am confident that he will lead the recovery in the financial performance and delivering value for our shareholders," Canham said in a statement.
Shares in Hornby were trading down 3.6% at 37.36 pence on Tuesday afternoon.
