LONDON (Alliance News) - Gene editing technologies developer Horizon Discovery Group PLC on Wednesday said Germany-based molecular diagnostics firm Qiagen NV has integrated Horizon's Reference Standards with its GeneReader NGS system.
Through incorporating the data set, Horizon said Qiagen will be able to reinforce the accuracy of GeneReader NGS, which stands for next-generation sequencing.
"The incorporation of Horizon's widely-used and well-established Reference Standards as a data set into the GeneReader NGS workflow reinforces the critical role that they play in the adoption of NGS workflows by clinical research laboratories," said Paul Morrill, president of the products business at Horizon Discovery.
Horizon shares were up 0.4% to 174.20 pence.
