HICL Infrastructure Venture Raises Stake In Sheffield Schools Project

LONDON (Alliance News) - Infrastructure investment company HICL Infrastructure Co Ltd on Friday said it has made a GBP4.1 million incremental investment in the Sheffield Schools private finance initiative project.

Following the transaction, HICL's joint venture with Kajima Partnerships Ltd now owns the entire project, having previously owned 50%.

The project is a 26-year PFI concession involving the design, construction, financing, maintenance and operation of two new primary and two new secondary schools on behalf of Sheffield County Council.
