LONDON (Alliance News) - HICL Infrastructure Co Ltd on Friday said it has purchased a 60% stake in the Ireland Primary Care Centres project for EUR11.6 million.
The infrastructure investment company said the the project is a 26 year concession for the design, construction, financing and maintenance of fourteen primary care centres across Ireland. New facilities will be built in Dublin, as well as at locations in Galway, Kildare, Limerick, Mayo, Roscommon, Sligo, Waterford, Tipperary and Wexford.
HICL said its total investment is EUR11.6 million, which includes a commitment to invest EUR9.5 million in 2018. The total construction cost for the project is around EUR145.0 million, and construction is scheduled to take 27 months.
The construction will be undertaken by Balfour Beatty Ireland, part of London-listed Balfour Beatty PLC, and construction company JJ Rhatigan & Co Ltd. Ongoing maintenance will be performed by integrated services provider Aramark Ireland, HICL said.
