LONDON (Alliance News) - Herencia Resources PLC Monday said its joint venture partner on the Guamanga Project OZ Minerals had commenced a geophysical survey program, while early fieldwork evaluation at its Picachos Project looks "very promising".
In a project update, the company said assays from the first round of field work at Picachos are being received and collated and it expects to release results shortly.
Additionally, work related to the Environmental Impact Statement process is continuing at the Paguanta Project, including advancing both community consultation and water access work.
It added that Nyrstar has accepted an invite to retain representation on the board. Nyrstar has a 9.64% shareholding in Herencia.
Herencia shares were down 0.8% at 0.486 pence Monday morning.
