(Alliance News) - Henderson Eurotrust PLC on Thursday said it has appointed Stephen King as a non-executive director with effect from December.
Having been HSBC chief economist for 17 years until 2015, Henderson said King is currently senior economic adviser to HSBC on a part time basis. He is a fellow of the Society of Professional Economists and sits on the management council of the National Institute of Economic & Social Research.
In addition, Henderson said David Marsh will be retiring at the annual general meeting in November 2020, having completed the maximum permitted term of nine years under the board's tenure policy.
Henderson shares were trading 1.8% higher in London on Thursday at 1,165.00 pence each.
