(Alliance News) - Henderson European Focus Trust PLC said Thursday it has appointed Robert Jeens as a non-executive director with effect from December 9, with the intention to become chair.
The company said Jeens will succeed Rodney Dennis as chair of the board, following Dennis retirement at the company's annual general meeting on January 31.
Jeens is currently a chair of Allianz Technology Trust PLC and Remote Media Group Ltd, and a director of Chrysalis VCT PLC and JPMorgan Russian Securities PLC.
"Robert brings in-depth knowledge and expertise in financial services and investment management at a senior level to the board," the company said.
Henderson European Focus shares were up 1.2% in London at 1,270.00 pence each on Friday.
