LONDON (Alliance News) - Shipping company Hellenic Carriers Ltd Thursday said that it has appointed Alkis Papadopoulos as the company's new Chief Financial Officer, to replace Elpida Kyriakopoulou who is stepping down at the end of May.
The company said the changes will take effect from June 1.
Papadopoulos was previously senior manager in the Shipping Industry Group at Ernst & Young.
Kyriakopoulou is resigning due to family relocation, the company said.
Hellenic shares were trading 0.5% higher at 42.47 pence Thursday morning.
