LONDON (Alliance News) - Helios Underwriting PLC on Monday said it has appointed Arthur Manners as finance director with immediate effect.
Manners has over 20 years' experience in the insurance industry and has been acting as a consultant to the company since June, Helios said.
His role as finance director will be part time as he is also finance director at insurance consultancy Total Risk Solutions Ltd.
Manners also used to be acting finance director at London-listed insurer Beazley Group PLC.
"We are delighted to welcome Arthur to the HUW board; he has been working with us since June last year and, with his extensive financial and insurance experience, he has been making a valuable contribution to the company as our business continues to grow," Non-Executive Chairman Michael Oliver said in a statement.
Shares in Helios were untraded on Monday, last quoted at 185.00 pence.
