Helios Towers Promotes CFO Tom Greenwood To Chief Operating Officer

1st Jul 2020 10:51

(Alliance News) - Helios Towers PLC on Wednesday said it has promoted Chief Financial Officer Tom Greenwood to the newly-created role of chief operating officer.

Greenwood joined the FTSE 250-listed telecommunications infrastructure company in 2010, became finance director in 2012, and stepped into the role of finance chief in 2015.

Helios Towers said it has begun the search for a new CFO, adding that Manjit Dhillon, the head of investor relations & corporate finance has been appointed interim CFO. Dhillon joined the company in 2016 having held a number of positions in the financial services sector, Helios said.

"I am delighted for Tom that he has accepted the new role of COO. He has always been a hands-on CFO with a very commercial and operational outlook. This expansion of the executive team provides the company with additional resources to drive the business forward," said Chair Sam Jonah.

Helios shares were trading 2.0% higher at 151.60 pence each on Wednesday morning in London, and 1.4% higher than at the start of the year.
