(Alliance News) - Property firm Helical PLC on Wednesday, at its annual general meeting, reported "continued" lettings success so far in 2019.
During the period from April 1 to September 24, Helical completed 15 new office lettings in London, covering 133,218 square feet, worth contracted rent of GBP9.8 million. Helical's share of that rent is GBP3.0 million per year.
Helical also completed three lettings in Manchester, covering 35,118 square feet, and a further 4,524 square feet at another location in the city.
Acquisitions in the period included a 195,000 square foot office development in Farringdon. Helical also sold two residential units in east London.
On the financing front, Helical in the period signed an amended GBP400 million revolving credit facility with four lenders, which is repayable in July 2024 with a possible two-year extension.
Shares were flat on Wednesday afternoon in London at a price of 380.00 pence each.
