LONDON (Alliance News) - Floorcoverings distributor Headlam Group PLC on Tuesday said its revenue for the first eleven months of 2015 increased year-on-year, albeit with a slowdown in growth in the second half.
Headlam said revenue for the eleven months to the end of November rose 3.0% year-on-year, a slight slowdown on the 4.0% growth seen in the first half due to tougher comparatives.
Like-for-like revenue in the UK grew 2.8% in the five months to the end of November, again slowing on the 5.4% growth in the first half. For the eleven months, like-for-like UK revenue grew 4.1%. Its Continental Europe business saw sales fall 4.1% for the eleven months, with a slight improvement in the second half, as markets remained sluggish.
December has started well, Headlam said, leaving it on track to hit its expectations for 2015.
The company will publish its annual results on March 3.
Shares in Headlam was down 0.8% to 515.00 pence on Tuesday.
