LONDON (Alliance News) - Headlam Group PLC on Monday said it has struck a deal to buy the business and certain assets of Midlands-based flooring company Matty's Wholesale Carpets.
Headlam will pay GBP1.9 million for the company, with a further GBP100,000 due following verification of the fair value of the net assets acquired.
Following completion of the deal, the Matty's brand will be retained and logistics will be provided by its existing facility in Coleshill, Headlam said.
Shares in Headlam were untraded on Monday, having last traded at 450.00 pence.
