LONDON (Alliance News) - Engineering company Hayward Tyler Group PLC on Thursday said it has secured an additional aftermarket order worth over GBP0.5 million for the Indian thermal power generation market.
Hayward said the order is due to delivery in the fourth quarter and relates to a spare motor and associated parts for deployment at Indian utility NTPC Ltd's Super Thermal Power Plant in Korba, Chhattisgarh State, India.
"As the world's third largest generator of electricity, India is a key market for the group. We anticipate seeing further growth in the current year thanks to our products' reputation for reliability, our local in-country presence, and the R&D innovations of our products that are helping allow conventional power stations reduce their carbon-footprint. We look forward to securing further original equipment and aftermarket orders in the region," said Hayward Chief Executive Ewan Lloyd-Baker.
Hayward Tyler shares were up 1.8% to 74.85 pence on Thursday.
