LONDON (Alliance News) - Engineering company Hayward Tyler Group PLC Monday said it has won a new nuclear contract worth GBP2.3 million.
The engineering and manufacturing group said the new contract is to supply major assemblies for two existing Hayward Tyler mission-critical Reactor Internal Pumps at Sweden's Forsmark Nuclear Power Plant. It said the order is due to be fulfilled over the next two years.
The latest order forms part of the on-going investment programme at Forsmark to extend the lifespan, as well as increase the capacity, of the facility. Hayward Tyler has a total of 18 motors installed at Forsmark.
Shares in Hayward Tyler were trading 2.8% higher at 79.70 pence per share Monday early afternoon.
Earlier this month the group said that it completed a series of key contracts wins and agreements across its main markets in February.
