Hayward Tyler Enters Oil & Gas Equipment Deal With Eureka Pumps

5th Sep 2013 09:33

LONDON (Alliance News) - Engineering firm Hayward Tyler Group PLC Thursday said it had entered into a joint initiative with Norwegian pump supplier Eureka Pumps AS to market oil-and-gas exploration equipment.

The deal follows the two companies jointly winning orders for 14 units for the Aasta Hansteen and Martin Linge projects in the North Sea, valued at more than GBP3.5 million to Hayward Tyler.

This will bring the number of Hayward Tyler submersible motor units installed in the North Sea to over 130.

Under the joint initiative, orders secured for new equipment will be manufactured at Hayward Tyler's' facilities in the UK with the aftermarket being serviced through the two companies' international network of offices.

Hayward shares were trading at 44.90 pence Thursday morning, up 0.15 pence.
