LONDON (Alliance News) - Haydale Graphene Industries PLC on Tuesday said it has secured a patent in Australia covering one of its technologies.
Haydale said the patent, granted by the Patent Office of the Commonwealth of Australia, covers a technology which underlies its core treatment processes.
"As with the earlier grant by the [European Patent Office], the patent award in Australia covers all nano particles, not just graphene, which provides Haydale with the protection to develop an extended range of nano materials. I am pleased that we now have our IP protected in China, Australia and Europe," said Ray Gibbs, Haydale's chief executive.
Shares in Haydale were up 1.5% to 172.5 pence on Tuesday.
