LONDON (Alliance News) - Furniture and interiors company Havelock Europa PLC on Tuesday said it has appointed David Ritchie as its new chief executive with immediate effect.
Ritchie moves to the role from its current position as chief operating officer, which he took up in April.
The group also said it has completed its move to its new head office in Kirkcaldy on schedule.
"I am delighted to announce the appointment of David Ritchie as Havelock Europa's new CEO. The process leading up to his appointment has been rigorous and comprehensive, including both internal and external candidates as a result of which the Board is unanimous that David is the right person to take Havelock forward," said Havelock Chairman David MacLellan.
Havelock shares were untraded just after the open on Tuesday, having last traded at 14.15 pence.
