LONDON (Alliance News) - Retail and educational interiors company Havelock Europa PLC Wednesday said Finance Director Grant Findlay had resigned, and will be succeeded next month by Ciaran Kennedy, who is joining from Kier Group PLC's Scottish utilities business.
The company said Findlay had resigned Wednesday, while Kennedy, aged 48, will join the company and its board on June 23.
"Prior to Kier Group's acquisition of May Gurney, he was Finance Director for May Gurneys' Public Sector business for 1.5 years. He spent 17 years at Ennstone PLC, a heavy end building materials group, in a number of finance and operational roles," Havelock Europa said in a statement.
Havelock Europa Chief Executive Eric Prescott thanked Findlay for his "significant contribution" over the last nine years and wished him well for the future.
The company didn't say why Findlay had resigned.
Havelock Europa shares last traded at 23.5 pence.
