(Alliance News) - Hastings Group Holdings PLC said Friday it will appoint Senior Independent Director Tom Colraine as non-executive chair with effect at the group's annual general meeting on May 21.
He will be replacing Gary Hoffman, who is stepping down after two years in the role since 2018 in order to concentrate on his "other responsibilities and time commitments".
Colraine has been part of the FTSE 250 insurer's board for five years since 2015. He will be chair while Hastings looks for a long-term successor for Hoffman.
Hastings said it has no immediate plans to make further board appointments, as it considers the composition of the board appropriate.
Shares in Hastings were down 0.5% at 194.60 pence on Friday in London.
