LONDON (Alliance News) - Surface coating technology provider Hardide PLC on Thursday said it has opened its new production facility in Virginia in the US.
The company said the new site, started a year ago in order to meet increased demand from its North American customers, has started production trials with existing customers and is set to begin volume production in the second quarter of 2016.
"Having a local production facility in North America will support the increased demand from existing customers and boost opportunities to expand provision of our coatings throughout the region," said Hardide Chief Executive Philip Kirkham.
Hardide shares were untraded on Thursday morning, having last traded at 1.36 pence.
