(Alliance News) - Surface coating firm Hardide PLC on Monday said it has started its new financial year on a "positive note" and is trading in line with market expectations.
Ahead of the company's annual general meeting on Monday, Chair Robert Goddard said "the positive trend" from the second half of the 12 months to September has continued in the new financial year.
Goddard said there were strong performances in the oil and gas sector and in the aerospace market.
He added: "Developments in the aerospace market continue, with good progress being made with Airbus SE and their Tier 1 suppliers in the negotiation of supply agreements.
"The company has started the new financial year on a positive note and continues to trade in line with market expectations."
The company added that the move to a new site is on schedule. Hardide signed a 15-year lease on a newly built premises close to its existing site in Bicester, Oxfordshire.
Shares in the company were 0.5% higher at 61.50 pence each in London on Monday morning.
