(Alliance News) - Savings and investment products provider Hansard Global PLC on Tuesday said it has appointed Jose Ribeiro as an independent non-executive director, effective from Monday.
Ribeiro has previously served as chief executive for Latin America and the Caribbean at insurance brokerage Willis Group Holdings PLC and as director for international markets at Lloyd's of London. He has also been managing director and a board member for Asia-Pacific region at credit ratings agency AM Best Co.
Hansard Global Chair Philip Gregory said: "I welcome Jose to the board and congratulate him on his appointment. His experience and expertise will bring a valuable perspective to the board as the group continues to implement its strategy for growth."
Shares in Hansard Global - which is headquartered in the Isle of Man - were down 4.8% at 40.00 pence on Tuesday in London.
