LONDON (Alliance News) - Hangar 8 PLC Tuesday said its aircraft management division has taken delivery of four more long-range aircraft, its largest ever monthly intake of new aircraft.
The aviation management firm said the new additions increase its long-range heavy aircraft charter capacity to some 30 aircraft, up from 24 heavy jets at the end of its last financial year.
The latest aircraft are a Bombardier 604, two Bombardier 605s and an Embraer Legacy.
Hangar 8 said it now manages more than 50 aircraft for clients. It has a particular focus on growing its fleet of heavy jets to meet increasing demand for long-haul private aviation.
Its analysis of industry data reveals that there were 84 heavy business aircraft delivered across Europe last year, up 33% from 63 during 2013.
The stock was trading at 252.73 pence Tuesday morning, up 6.23 pence or 2.5%.
