LONDON (Alliance News) - Property developer Hammerson PLC on Tuesday said Chief Financial Officer Timon Drakesmith has decided to resign.
Drakesmith, who joined the property firm as CFO in May 2011, will remain on the board until "later in 2019" in order to assist with the transition. Hammerson said Drakesmith's role as managing director of its Premium Outlets was "instrumental" to the unit's "unique strategic exposure".
Hammerson said its board will now start the process of appointing Drakesmith's successor.
Shares in Hammerson were down 0.5% at 286.50 pence on Tuesday morning in London and up 0.4% at ZAR52.68 in Johannesburg.
